Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms and Conditions
By using RentalEquip.in, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions outlined in this document. These terms apply to all users, including customers, visitors, and anyone accessing or using the website. We reserve the right to modify, update, or change these terms at any time, and changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
2. Rental Agreement
2.1 Binding Agreement
When you book any equipment from RentalEquip, you are entering into a binding rental agreement with us. This agreement includes all the terms outlined here, as well as any additional terms provided at the time of your booking.
2.2 Equipment Usage
By renting the equipment, you agree to use it solely for the intended purpose as specified by the manufacturer. Unauthorized use, modification, or tampering with the equipment is prohibited. Any damages resulting from misuse will be charged to the customer.
2.3 Return of Equipment
You agree to return the equipment on or before the agreed-upon return date. The equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was provided, barring normal wear and tear.
2.4 Rental Period Extension
If you wish to extend your rental period, please contact RentalEquip prior to the original return date. The extension will be subject to equipment availability and additional charges.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Payment Method
We accept payments via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and popular online payment systems like Paytm and UPI. Payments must be completed in full at the time of booking, and your reservation will not be confirmed until payment is received.
3.2 Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required for certain types of equipment. The deposit amount will be communicated to you during the booking process. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the equipment in good condition, subject to inspection.
3.3 Pricing and Fees
Rental prices are determined based on the type of equipment, the rental duration, and the location of delivery. Additional charges may apply for delivery, late returns, damages, or specific usage beyond the agreed terms.
4. Equipment Delivery and Pickup
4.1 Delivery Process
RentalEquip will arrange for the delivery of your rented equipment to the location you specified during the booking process. Delivery charges, if applicable, will be communicated to you in advance.
4.2 Delivery Timeline
While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, RentalEquip is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic, or logistical issues.
4.3 Pickup Process
Upon completion of your rental period, RentalEquip will arrange for the equipment pickup. If you wish to extend your rental, please inform us at least 24 hours prior to the end of the rental period. Late returns may incur additional charges.
5. Equipment Care and Maintenance
5.1 Customer Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the equipment while it is in your possession. Regular checks and appropriate handling are required to ensure the equipment is functioning properly. If you experience any issues with the equipment, you should immediately contact our support team.
5.2 Maintenance
RentalEquip provides basic maintenance for rented equipment. If any equipment malfunctions due to a manufacturer defect, RentalEquip will repair or replace it free of charge. However, any issues caused by misuse or mishandling will be the customer’s responsibility to fix at their own cost.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
6.1 Cancellation by Customer
Full Refund: If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of placing the order and before the equipment has been dispatched, you are eligible for a full refund.
Partial Refund: Cancellations made after 24 hours but before delivery will incur a cancellation fee, and the balance will be refunded. The cancellation fee will be communicated at the time of booking.
No Refund: No refunds are provided after the equipment has been delivered, and once the rental period has started.
6.2 Cancellation by RentalEquip
In rare cases where RentalEquip is unable to fulfil a booking due to equipment availability or other unforeseen issues, we will offer you a full refund or arrange for a suitable replacement.
6.3 Refund Process
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take 5-7 business days to reflect in your account.
7. Late Returns and Extra Charges
7.1 Late Returns
If you fail to return the equipment on time, additional charges will apply. The daily rental rate will be charged for the extended period until the equipment is returned.
7.2 Excessive Delay
If the equipment is not returned within 3 days after the rental period ends, RentalEquip reserves the right to initiate further action, including recovering the equipment and charging for its replacement value.
8. Damage and Liability
8.1 Damage or Loss
If the rented equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen while in your possession, you will be responsible for covering the repair or replacement costs. The cost will be determined by RentalEquip based on the extent of the damage or loss.
8.2 Inspection and Assessment
Upon return of the equipment, RentalEquip will conduct an inspection to assess any damage. If the equipment is found to be damaged, the security deposit may be used to cover the costs. Any remaining costs will be invoiced to you.
8.3 Insurance Coverage
RentalEquip provides basic insurance for equipment damage and theft. However, this insurance does not cover damages caused by negligence or misuse. Customers are advised to inquire about additional coverage options if needed.
9. Privacy and Security
9.1 Data Protection
RentalEquip respects your privacy. Any personal data you provide will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
9.2 Payment Security
All transactions on RentalEquip.in are secured using the latest encryption technologies to ensure your payment details are safe.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Arbitration
In the event of any disputes related to the rental agreement or these terms, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be settled through arbitration as per the laws of India.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the region where RentalEquip operates.
